The climax of the construction was the formal enshrinement of the Buddha’s relics within the Great Thūpa. This chapter details the miraculous events and grand processions that accompanied the ritual. As the relics were placed in the chamber, the earth shook, and the Arahats performed psychic wonders to celebrate the occasion. This act transformed the Great Thūpa into a living monument, forever housing the sacred physical remains of the Enlightened One.
