high-definition creative commons posters depicting Princess Kañcanadevī Story from the Rasavāhiṇī (Heart Streams) together with further information.

During the Pattamaha festival in Devaputtanagara, a virtuous girl’s devotion protected her from a smitten Nāga king’s wrath. Unharmed by his venom or coils, she performed a solemn Act of Truth, compelling the impressed Nāga to release and honor her. Reborn as the radiant Princess Kañcanadevi, she possessed divine beauty and scent. Eschewing royal life, she eventually ordained as a bhikkhunī and attained Arahatship.
