high-definition creative commons photographs from Rama’s Return and Consecration in the Ramayana together with further information.

After Sita proves her purity through an ordeal by fire, the fourteen-year exile ends. Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana return to Ayodhya in the flying chariot, Pushpaka. They are greeted with immense joy by Bharata and the citizens. Rama is finally consecrated as King, ushering in an era of perfect peace, justice, and prosperity known as "Ram-rajya." The brothers are reunited in service to the kingdom, and the city celebrates the triumph of dharma.
