Hanuman finds Sita imprisoned in Ravana’s Ashoka grove, where she remains faithful despite Ravana's threats. He presents Rama’s signet ring to gain her trust and offers to carry her back, but Sita insists that Rama must defeat Ravana to reclaim her honor. After comforting her, Hanuman wreaks havoc on Lanka to demonstrate Rama’s power. He returns to Rama with Sita’s jewel, providing the vital news that she is alive and waiting.
