Blessed with an elegant, flawless voice and a sharp intellect, elders compared his eloquence to a first-class stallion pedigree. Trained at the Thugyi Kyaung monastery under Venerable U Parama, his education instilled deep scriptural morals. Remarkably, his secular birth name prophetically matched the wealthy gentleman who later built his Rangoon meditation center.
