Born a princess in Buddha Kassapa’s time, she fell for the robber Sattuka, saved him, but he tried to kill her—using her quick wit she pushed him off a cliff. She became a wandering ascetic challenging all to debate. Ven. Sāriputta defeated her, and she became a Buddhist nun, quickly attaining Arahatship and the title of foremost in swift insight.
