Under Buddha Padumuttara, he aspired to be foremost in energetic Dhamma exposition. He meditated on a mountain with six others. Born from a nun’s womb, he was raised by King Pasenadi. Ordained as a novice, he became an Arahat. A Brahma gave him the Ant-hill riddles, which the Buddha explained as the body, defilements, and the path. He was declared foremost in energetic teaching.
