high-definition creative commons photographs about Ven. Pilinda Vaccha from the Great Chronicles together with further information.
Under Buddha Padumuttara, he aspired to be adored by Devas. A former Universal Monarch, he established people in morality, earning the Devas’ gratitude. In his final life, he was an ascetic whose powers failed after the Buddha’s arrival. He ordained, became an Arahat, but habitually called others outcaste, as a result of having 500 Brahmin births. He meant no harm. He was declared foremost in being adored by Devas.
