high-definition creative commons photographs about Ven. Kuṇḍadhāna from the Great Chronicles together with further information.
Under Buddha Padumuttara, he aspired to be first in drawing lots. In Buddha Kassapa’s time, as a Deva, he caused a schism between two monks by appearing as a woman. For this, he was reborn in lower worlds. In his final life, a woman’s apparition followed him, causing ridicule. Later he became an Arahat and was declared foremost in drawing lots.
