high-definition creative commons posters depicting Kāḷī, the Disciple of Kuraragharafrom the Great Chronicles together with further information.

Kāḷī of Kuraraghara aspired during Buddha Padumuttara’s era to become the foremost disciple devoted through hearsay. Reborn in Rājagaha under Buddha Gotama, she overheard devas Sātāgiri and Hemavata praising the Triple Gem. Instilled with profound devotion, she attained Stream-entry (Sotāpatti) before even meeting the Buddha. Consequently, Buddha Gotama declared her the foremost female lay disciple among those devoted through hearing, fulfilling her ancient aspiration.
