high-definition creative commons posters depicting Anāthapiṇḍika based on the Great Chronicles of the Buddhas together with further information.
Anāthapiṇḍika, originally named Sudattha, became the Buddha’s foremost lay disciple through his immense generosity. He famously purchased Prince Jeta's park by covering the ground with gold coins to build the magnificent Jetavana monastery. On his deathbed, he received a profound discourse from Venerable Sāriputta regarding non-attachment to the senses. After passing, he was reborn in the Tusita Realm and returned as a Deva to express his gratitude to the Teacher.
