high-definition creative commons posters depicting The Story about Dharmayaśas (Kashmir) together with further information.
Dharmayaśas was a dedicated monk from Kashmir (Jibin) who specialized in the Vinaya (monastic discipline) and the Vibhāṣā. He traveled to southern China, where he translated important texts on meditation and monastic rules. The story also mentions his disciple Zhu Fadu, who controversially attempted to prioritize Hīnayāna teachings and restricted the reading of Mahāyāna doctrines, reflecting early internal doctrinal debates in Chinese Buddhism.
