The Main Palace, Puri Agung Karangasem
Puri Agung Karangasem is located in the center of Amlapura City. It was built in the 19th century AD by Anak Agung Gede Jelantik, King of Karangasem. The main attraction of Puri Agung is the architectural splendor of the building which is a combination of Balinese, Chinese and European architecture.

The Ujung Water Palace
The Ujung Water Palace was built by the King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, who holds the title Anak Agung Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglurah. This palace is privately owned by the descendents of the Karangasem Royal Family. It was built in 1909 on the initiative of Anak Agung Anglurah. The architect was the Dutchman van Den Hentz and a Chinese man Loto Ang. This development also involves unnamed Balinese architects. This palace is a development of the Dirah Pool which was built in 1901. The construction was completed in 1921. It is beasutifully situated, with the sea in the background from one view and Mount Agung from another.
Tirta Gangga
The Tirta Gangga is another of the Water Palaces built by the King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, who holds the title Anak Agung Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglurah, this time in 1926-27.
