The Bajra Sandhi Monument is a recently built memorial to those who fought for Bali’s independence against the colonial powers. The building was begun in 1987 and completed in 2003. The monument on the inside has three floors, the second of which has 33 diaramas (not shown here); and the 3rd of which has very fine views out over the city.
