The Mount Putuo Guanyin Fajie (Guanyin Dharma Realm/Shengtan) is a major, modern Buddhist cultural landmark on Zhujiajian Island, near Mount Putuo in Zhejiang, China. Completed around 2021, it is a magnificent, centrally designed complex featuring a high-rise shrine, intricate copper-welded architecture, and a huge courtyard. It acts as a cultural and religious center devoted to Guanyin Bodhisattva, designed to blend traditional Buddhist architecture with modern technology. The main building (Guanyin Shrine) features a massive copper-clad facade, titanium roofing, and a striking steel-framed design, which houses a detailed wooden statue of Guanyin surrounded by other figures on all sides.
